About the position

The Senior Solutions Architect - Security at Sirius Computer Solutions is a client-facing, pre-sales technologist responsible for understanding and addressing clients' business requirements related to security solutions. This role involves qualifying opportunities, creating tailored designs, and building presales collateral to effectively represent solutions. The architect collaborates with various stakeholders, presents proposed solutions, and ensures successful delivery while maximizing profit. Additionally, the position requires maintaining strong relationships with key business partners and contributing to the development of intellectual property within the Security Line of Business (LOB).

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales account team, interfacing directly with Sirius clients.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships, understanding clients' business challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Advise clients on integrating the Six Security Domains into their infrastructures and business processes.
  • Propose remediation strategies for identified security risks.
  • Assess security implications for new technologies.
  • Develop High Level Designs and Architectures to address client business problems.
  • Create and document proposals, including BOMs, Product Quotes, SOWs, and business cases.
  • Collaborate with management and sales teams to develop account prioritization and support strategies.
  • Maintain healthy relationships with key partners in the geography.
  • Provide project oversight on significant client projects, including leading kickoff meetings and milestone reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of Sirius intellectual property and industry recognition through white papers and speaking engagements.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as responding to emails, phone calls, and expense reports.
  • Develop and execute a professional plan to enhance skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
  • At least eight (8) years of Information Technology work experience in a Security solutions focused role.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply security technical background to business direction.
  • Proven experience articulating technical viewpoints to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to evaluate information and make sound technical risk judgments.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in developing longer-range project plans and schedules.
  • Ability to perform technical skills/knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, delegation, and personnel management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least four (4) years of experience in pre-sales engineering and/or sales in a Systems Integrator, OEM, or similar environment.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP and relevant security technology solutions certifications.
  • Four (4) years of billable consulting experience.
  • Experience leading teams in a client or consulting project environment.
  • Experience managing relationships with Security vendor partners.
  • Experience in selling and delivering multi-million dollar enterprise-size, complex projects.
  • Relevant experience in Cloud and Cloud Security technologies.
