About the position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking experienced Enterprise Solutions Architects to engage with large Enterprise, Telecom, and Media customers. This role involves understanding customer business drivers, assessing technology needs, and designing scalable cloud architectures on AWS. The position requires building relationships with senior technical leaders, educating customers on AWS best practices, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology consulting and solutions architecture, with a focus on cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to understand their business drivers and technology needs.
• Design reliable, cost-effective, and scalable cloud architectures on AWS.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS through training sessions and architectural discussions.
• Drive revenue growth by formulating and executing sales strategies in partnership with the AWS Sales team.
• Capture and share best practice knowledge across AWS, including authoring customer-facing content like whitepapers and blog posts.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical leaders to enable them as cloud advocates within their companies.
• Collaborate across AWS teams to drive and shape new solutions for repeatable customer business outcomes.
• Assist partners in designing and implementing large-scale network transformation programs and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience in IT development or consulting.
• Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience working with Machine Learning and Data Science communities.
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS ML technologies.
• AWS certifications.
• Experience writing and publishing technical whitepapers or patents.
