About the position

In 2024, Axway is pursuing its ambitions to enable organizations' digital transformation, and we are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our family. This role is pivotal in helping our clients navigate their digital journeys by providing expert guidance and solutions tailored to their specific needs. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will engage with clients to understand their requirements and challenges, and you will be responsible for mapping these needs to effective solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in deploying and upgrading Axway's Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions in high availability cloud environments, ensuring that our clients can rely on robust and secure systems to manage their data transfers. You will lead solution alignment workshops, where you will gather customer requirements and identify critical business challenges. Your role will involve assessing existing customer implementations, documenting best practices, and providing recommendations for improvements. You will work closely with engineers to support cloud customers and engage in user groups as a subject matter expert. Additionally, you will be responsible for incident management and resolution, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Responsibilities

  • Lead solution alignment workshop sessions to gather customer requirements and critical business challenges
  • Map customer requirements to a solution approach and work estimates
  • Deploy and upgrade Axway MFT solution in high availability environments cloud
  • Implementation includes design, installation, security, promotion and monitoring
  • Assess existing customer implementations and document recommendations / best practices
  • Work with engineers on cloud customer support
  • Engage in customer user groups as subject matter expert
  • Incident Management and Resolution

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related Engineering subjects
  • Minimum of 8 years of successful experience in IT Consulting or in operational support
  • Experience in (managed) file transfer (SFTP, HTTPS, FTP, AS2, PeSIT) and integration (ESB, API)
  • Proven track records in integration projects
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Self-motivated, detail minded, organized and pursue excellence on all tasks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to solve problems using a creative and logical mindset
  • Ability to articulate the value of technical capabilities to different audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams while maintaining high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to support after hours (on call)
  • Experience with Axway MFT Solution: Secure Transport, Transfer CFT, Flow Manager and Sentinel
  • Experience in system and/or application administration using Linux
  • Experience with tools in the Software Development Life Cycle including source control (git), build systems (Jenkins), issue tracking (JIRA), and requirements management
  • API Management Concepts
  • PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and X509 certificates
  • Transfer protocols and related technologies experience (SFTP, FTP/S, PeSIT, HTTPS and AS2)
  • Experience building and using web APIs (SOAP, XML, REST, JSON)
  • SAML, WS-Fed, WS-Trust, OAuth, OpenID, XACML, Kerberos
  • Experience with Databases RDBMS and NoSQL (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra)
  • Experience with deploying container-based cluster engines using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
  • Understand cloud related technologies
  • Experience with one or more scripting language (Shell (Bash), Python)
