About the position

The Senior Solutions Engineer in Centific's Solution Design team will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of innovative Data products and AI solutions. This role is crucial for enhancing Centific's AI product and services portfolio, requiring a deep understanding of Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Multimodal models. The engineer will act as the voice of the customer and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions across various industry use cases.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer-facing technical resource during customer/partner meetings and technology evaluations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on AI to help customers with their end-to-end vision, including AI strategy, operating model, and architectural best practices.
• Lead the development of product demos, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the feasibility and potential impact of Centific's AI solutions for clients.
• Oversee the deployment and integration of AI solutions into client environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Provide guidance to GTM, Product, and Engineering leaders on strategy, product obstacles/gaps, and associated resourcing requirements.
• Partner closely with Sales to achieve target quotas and ensure alignment between commercial and technical parameters for engagements.
• Build and manage a solution engineering playbook including demo materials and associated assets to support the GTM team.
• Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors within the AI/ML space.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Centific's products and marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related consulting experience leading a solution engineering team.
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, including solution design in a B2B software company or AI/ML consulting.
• Proficiency in executing a value-centric sales motion using methodologies like MEDDIC or similar.
• Experienced in Supervised and Unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model training, and deployment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript/Typescript, Bash scripts, or programming languages.
• Hands-on experience in building and implementing machine learning or Generative AI models.
• Proven track record of collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of machine learning solutions aligned with business outcomes.
• Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience and understanding of at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with at least one Data Science tool such as AWS Sagemaker, AzureML, Dataiku, Datarobot, H2O, and Jupyter Notebooks.
