About the position

The Senior Solutions Engineer at Trellix is responsible for understanding and addressing customer challenges in cybersecurity, particularly in Security and Cloud Architectures. This role involves participating in sales calls, providing technical expertise, and demonstrating how Trellix's solutions can meet customer needs. The engineer will also contribute to proposal writing, manage technical escalations, and stay informed about industry trends to support sales strategies and product evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and have in-depth knowledge of Security, Cloud Architectures, and on-premise hub and spoke infrastructures.
  • Participate in sales conference calls, providing product information and working with prospects at both technical and business levels.
  • Present 'Device to Cloud Solutions' and XDR solutions to address customer needs and outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise on customer product and solution demonstrations.
  • Contribute to writing solution proposals that meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs with technical or solution input.
  • Build and participate in pipeline activities.
  • Maintain a competent level of knowledge and hands-on experience across Trellix products and solutions.
  • Stay informed about security trends and industry analyst reports.
  • Conduct customer presentations and support beta activities and early adopter programs.
  • Manage technical escalations within accounts.
  • Update technical SE activities within the Salesforce system.
  • Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches and build pipeline.
  • Ensure successful product evaluations.

Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of security experience with deep knowledge in end-to-end security solutions including XDR.
  • Strong presentation skills for customer interactions.
  • Ability to conduct customer product pilots and evaluations.
  • Experience in technical escalation management within accounts.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce for tracking technical activities.
