About the position

The Senior Solutions Group Product Manager for Google Cloud is responsible for guiding products from conception to launch, focusing on innovative networking and security solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's technology, enabling customers to digitally transform their businesses. The position emphasizes the importance of understanding both technical and business aspects to drive product development and meet customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large network and security solution architectures for organizations.
• Define solutions for customers and author solutions requirements documents.
• Provide architecture design guidance, validations, and benchmarks using the Cloud Networking portfolio of products.
• Exhibit go-to-market (GTM) skills including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, pricing, value proposition, differentiation, and customer engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience in data center, campus, branch network design, and mobile architecture from Radio Access Network (RAN) to packet core, end-to-end 5G architecture.
• Experience in networking and security in enterprise/service provider environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
• 7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
• 5 years of experience in software development or engineering.
• 5 years of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
• Experience in incorporating inclusion and accessibility into product development methodologies.
