About the position

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Senior Solutions Manager to leverage digital advertising, project management, account management, and relationship management skills to develop and grow innovative advertising programs. This role is pivotal in leading unique campaigns from creative brief to launch for a diverse range of globally recognized brands in the Financial Services and Hospitality sectors, including Restaurants, Travel, and Services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a Creative Director and a team of art directors, copywriters, designers, producers, strategists, and design technologists to create innovative advertising solutions utilizing Amazon's extensive platforms such as Fire TV, Alexa, Twitch, IMDb, and Prime Video. The Senior Solutions Manager will be responsible for managing complex cross-functional projects and campaigns that have a significant impact across North America, ensuring that the team delivers differentiated value against its intended objectives. In this role, you will own program operations and execution, which includes developing workflow and training documentation, coordinating with account teams, and managing the lifecycle of projects. You will also be tasked with building business rationale to prioritize the program roadmap, creating business requirements and user stories for feature enhancements, and collaborating with design technologists and art directors to scope, prototype, build, and scale these enhancements. Continuous program improvement will be driven by leveraging customer feedback, and you will be expected to manage bottlenecks, assign team tasks, and provide escalation management while balancing business needs with technical constraints. The Senior Solutions Manager will present confidently to Amazon senior management and other large audiences, working at all levels within the organization. You will prepare biweekly state of business reports to share with the pod lead and during Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs). This position offers the opportunity to learn, drive experimentation, and evolve inventive ad programs for Amazon's largest advertising clients, reporting directly to the lead of the Hospitality and Financial Services Brand Innovation Lab. The Brand Innovation Lab is dedicated to developing campaigns that engage consumers throughout the marketing journey, enhancing brand awareness, relevance, consideration, acquisition, and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of complex cross-functional projects and campaigns with considerable impact across North America.
  • Own program operations and execution, including workflow and training documentation, downstream planning and coordination with account teams.
  • Build business rationale to inform the prioritization of your programs' roadmap and downstream planning.
  • Build business requirements and user stories for proposed feature enhancements and work with Design Technologists and Art Directors to scope, prototype, build and scale.
  • Track and report on performance, ensuring the team is delivering differentiated value against its intended objective.
  • Leverage customer feedback to drive continuous program improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, assigning the team, and provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
  • Present confidently to Amazon senior management as well as other large audiences.
  • Work at all levels in the organization, with no job being considered too large or small.
  • Prepare biweekly state of business reports and share with pod lead and via WBRs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis experience.
  • Experience with annual brand and media planning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Online display advertising industry experience and/or previous business development/publisher experience are highly desired.
  • Passionate about advertising and have experience creating compelling solutions that work both for end-customers and advertisers.
  • Facilitate with harnessing big, creative ideas for online media, growing the business and working with advertisers and agencies to build innovative products.
  • Basic understanding of technical integration of concepts, and the ability to build relationships with marketing & product managers, sales stakeholders, dev managers, and designers.
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
