About the position

This position involves partnering with the operations team and finance commodity leaders to enhance business performance across various metrics including Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash. The role supports deal underwriting for commercial agreements with suppliers and manages ongoing financial performance post-agreement. It is integral to the Shared Hardware GM and operations team, focusing on financial reporting, strategy contribution, and process improvement within the sourcing finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations team and commodity finance leaders to support business performance (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Cash).
  • Provide financial support on deal underwriting, supplier/contract management, and cost/cash optimization projects.
  • Own monthly close reporting for commodity, including financial metrics reporting and analysis for monthly operating reviews with Sourcing GM & Sourcing CFO.
  • Contribute to commodity level strategy through key planning cycles such as annual strategy and budget processes.
  • Leverage analysis and data to support recommendations and provide insights to commodity operations teams.
  • Drive horizontal projects within the sourcing finance team to improve process standardization, simplification, and automation.
  • Communicate complex messages and explain difficult information effectively.
  • Work through areas of ambiguity and partner with cross-functional teams in operations and finance to problem-solve and benchmark best practices.
  • Utilize financial expertise and sound judgment to maintain a high level of controllership and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 8 years of experience in the Finance function.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance with increased levels of responsibility.
