About the position

As a Senior Sourcing Manager of Store Development - Fixtures and Construction at Sephora, you will play a pivotal role in developing strong and effective business partner relationships while providing strategic sourcing support at an enterprise level. Reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, your primary focus will be on managing the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, ensuring compliance with established processes, and executing Sephora's goals related to diversity, risk, and sustainability. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of categories, including Retail Fixtures, Construction services, and equipment, all aimed at supporting new and remodeled stores while driving savings through market-driven strategies and negotiations. In this role, you will be recognized as a valued partner by Store Development stakeholders, influencing key business decisions. You will collaborate closely with Finance and Store Development teams to develop a strategic sourcing pipeline that includes well-defined cost savings and avoidance targets. Your goal will be to achieve year-over-year improvements in Retail Fixtures and Construction Services & Equipment without compromising on quality and service. You will conduct all phases of complex contract development, from gathering and reviewing requirements to executing the sourcing process, including RFI and RFP development, scorecarding, and supplier selection documentation. Your negotiation skills will be crucial as you work to optimize Sephora's position with suppliers, partnering with various stakeholders on contract evaluation, redlining, and final negotiations. You will also be responsible for continually improving supplier performance by setting measurable contractual performance targets and managing supplier performance effectively. Staying informed about market changes and supplier health will be essential, as will evaluating the impact of changes in supplier status. Additionally, you will advocate for and track compliance with Sephora's Indirect Spend and Delegation of Authority policies, manage third-party risk processes, and provide training to ensure adherence. Your thought leadership will be instrumental in optimizing Strategic Sourcing's effectiveness, and you will strategize across categories to identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost-effectiveness in supplier negotiations. You will build project plans and timelines to ensure that key milestones are met throughout the sourcing process, effectively communicating status updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise. Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and support to optimize Strategic Sourcing's effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience in store development, fixtures, and construction services.
  • Experience negotiating large enterprise agreements such as master services agreements and statements of work.
  • Ability to develop relationships and gain buy-in with key stakeholders on category strategies and sourcing plans.
  • Proven track record of cost reduction and productivity improvements.
  • Excellent project and timeline management skills for end-to-end sourcing projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled negotiator with understanding of various contract models and market terms.
  • Ability to influence internal and external partners and interface with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and interpersonal.
  • Advanced analytics, Excel, presentation, data visualization, and sourcing tools skills.
