About the position

The Senior Spark SQL Developer with Databricks is responsible for end-to-end Data Warehouse application development and deployment. This role requires strong expertise in Spark and SQL, with a focus on writing complex queries and performance tuning to support business needs. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Spark applications and environments, as well as proficiency in Hive and SparkSQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy end-to-end Data Warehouse applications.
• Write complex and efficient SQL queries to support business requirements.
• Perform performance tuning on SQL queries to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.
• Utilize Spark and Databricks for data processing and analysis.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of post-college working experience in Data Warehouse application development.
• Over 2 years of experience in Spark applications and environments.
• Strong performance tuning knowledge in SQL queries.
• Expertise in Hive and/or SparkSQL.
• Sound knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
