About the position

The Senior Specialist in Digital Research Solutions at Gartner plays a crucial role in partnering with supply chain experts, client advisors, and software developers to manage the delivery of research-based interactive content. This position focuses on identifying product requirements and designing solutions to address complex supply chain challenges. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful execution of product strategies and the development of actionable tools and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of critical supply chain interactive publications on a regular cadence (e.g., Monthly Supply Chain Alert)
  • Create and evolve digital assets/tools that are rooted in client problems and leverage best-practice research concepts
  • Partner on solution strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts
  • Translate research best practices into actionable product wireframes and user stories
  • Dissect client problems using qualitative and quantitative research and analysis skills, inductive and deductive reasoning, abstract thinking, and root-cause analysis
  • Support the development of solution roadmaps and release plans that satisfy client requirements and achieve business outcomes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver on the solution requirements against the roadmap
  • Apply design thinking and user experience principles to design tools that are actionable, consumable, high quality and easy to use
  • Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and surface and prioritize needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree (preferred)
  • 2-4 years of work experience in academic or applied research or consulting
  • Outstanding project management skills involving internal and external stakeholders with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, multi-tasking environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Love quantitative/qualitative problem solving and are excited about defining and driving use cases, product features/requirements, roadmaps and release plans based on client needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, B2C, or internal digital solutions
  • Familiarity with design thinking and user experience principles
  • Ability to work in a multicultural global team.
