About the position

The HRIS Senior Analyst (Workday Specialist) is responsible for managing and optimizing Workday processes across various functional areas including HCM, time tracking, absence, performance, and reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the system meets organizational needs. The analyst will also be involved in creating reports, managing configuration changes, and leading testing efforts to maintain system accuracy and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Create advanced, matrix, and composite reports in Workday.
  • Update and revise reports to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Build alerts and notifications based on reporting insights.
  • Design and populate EIBs for key Workday processes such as payroll and benefits.
  • Create and/or modify dashboards and Workday hubs for data analytics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues in Workday.
  • Address system errors and discrepancies reported by HR.
  • Partner with technical teams for smooth integration of external systems into Workday.
  • Lead comprehensive testing for open enrollment and compensation cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Workday security issues.
  • Modify and manage security groups, domains, and policies for compliance.
  • Create and run regression test cases for biannual Workday releases.
  • Stay informed on new release features and apply necessary configurations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday, specifically in reporting & analytics, EIB management, HCM, performance, absence, and time-tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with troubleshooting Workday security issues.
  • Experience with modifying and managing security groups, domains, and policies.
