About the position

As a Senior Specialist, Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide strategic HR guidance and support to clients in the Value and Implementation sectors, focusing on Medical/Scientific Affairs and Outcomes Research. This role involves coaching leadership teams, developing talent and diversity strategies, managing organizational change, and addressing complex HR issues to align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Human Resources consulting and coaching to leaders.
  • Understand dynamics and key business priorities of client groups to support business leaders in managing their organizations effectively.
  • Support all talent management and organizational alignment activities within client groups.
  • Assist in organizational change management activities, including restructuring.
  • Drive the talent and diversity strategy for the organization.
  • Promote culture change and team effectiveness strategies.
  • Collaborate across the Human Resources network and with other stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions.
  • Coach leaders on managing cyclical people management processes such as talent management and performance management.
  • Partner with learning & development on strategies to support talent development.
  • Collaborate with talent acquisition on workforce planning and talent strategy activities.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
  • Offer Human Resources policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to provide guidance on cultural growth and diversity initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience as an HR Business Partner or in a related HR role (4 years with a Master's degree).
  • Demonstrated HR functional competence in various HR disciplines.
  • Experience leading multiple HR projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize time and problem-solve effectively.
  • Proven collaboration skills among peers and global HR organizations.
  • Stakeholder management experience with multiple decision-makers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with HR systems and data analytics for client consultation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence outcomes at all business levels.
  • Strong partnership-building skills with individuals at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous HR Business Partner experience.
  • Experience in organization development, including design and change management.
  • Knowledge of US employment legal practices and policies.
