About the position

The Senior Specialist, Operations Maintenance Coordination role at Southwire Company is focused on ensuring the reliability of equipment through effective maintenance coordination. This position is responsible for overseeing various maintenance processes, managing work requests, and aligning maintenance resources with production needs while adhering to budget constraints. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and efficiency in maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety of maintenance work execution in the facility
  • Manage problem-solving requirements on consequential and/or chronic equipment issues
  • Ensure planner feedback for significant deviation in work execution and duration
  • Drive PM compliance through prioritization during scheduling activities
  • Review notifications to ensure accurate input and prioritization of information
  • Serve as the gatekeeper for routine work approval/disapproval
  • Build the weekly schedule based on available capacity of resources
  • Manage 'break-in' work impacts to weekly schedule, adjusting to meet production needs
  • Lead maintenance budget development and management
  • Track transactional process performance including data accuracy and ability to meet customer expectations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 9+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
