About the position

The Brand Communications team at Procore Technologies plays a crucial role in enhancing the brand through effective public relations and reputation management. This team is also responsible for keeping Procorians informed, inspired, and engaged through impactful internal communications programs. The Senior Specialist, Product & Technology Communications will report to the Senior Manager of Product & Technology Communications and can work remotely or from the Austin, Texas office. In this role, the Senior Specialist will be a storyteller with a passion for technology, leading the end-to-end Business Technology (IT) enterprise communications strategy. This includes implementing a high-impact engineering communications program that motivates and highlights the contributions of developers. The specialist will partner with Product & Technology operations and enablement teams to deliver communications that inform, inspire, and align global Procorians. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer and expert communications strategist, with a strong understanding of technology and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging narratives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with teams developing cutting-edge products for Procore's employees and customers. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the enterprise Business Technology and Security communications strategy, serving as the primary communications advisor to Procore's SVP of Engineering, and building communications for company-wide events such as all-hands meetings and town halls. The specialist will also contribute to Procore's enterprise communications forums, maintain the Technology editorial calendar, and lead content for tech-focused newsletters and speaker series. Collaboration with the Brand Communications team is essential to amplify corporate narratives and spotlight customer impact stories that engage technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise Business Technology and Security communications strategy in partnership with the SVP, Enterprise Systems & Infrastructure and CSO.
• Serve as the primary communications advisor to Procore's SVP, Engineering and Engineering heads to inspire and inform the global engineering team.
• Build communications for company and department-wide all-hands, town halls, videos, organizational changes, and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to Procore's enterprise communications forums, including Procore All-Hands, the company intranet (The Core), Slack, and email.
• Spearhead implementation of the internal email analytics tool, Staffabse, in collaboration with the Brand Communications team.
• Maintain the Technology editorial calendar and lead content for tech-focused newsletters and speaker series including: Tech Bytes, Protect Procore, and Tech Talks.
• Collaborate closely with the Brand Communications team to amplify corporate narratives and spotlight customer impact stories.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technology communications experience, preferably in high growth SaaS organizations.
• Extreme attention to detail and ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
• Proven track record advising executives on communications.
• Results-oriented, highly-autonomous self-starter with a focus on measurable impact.
• Strong writer with extensive experience developing strategic communications plans.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
