About the position

The Senior Specialist Solution Architect for Database, GenAI/ML at AWS is a pivotal role focused on leveraging generative AI to address complex customer challenges. This position involves direct interaction with customers to understand their business problems and guide them in implementing generative AI solutions. The role requires crafting scalable technical architectures, developing enablement materials, and influencing product development through customer feedback. As a thought leader, the architect will also contribute to AWS's knowledge base through blogs, whitepapers, and public speaking engagements.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
