About the position

The Senior Specialist Solution Architect for Database, GenAI/ML at AWS is a pivotal role focused on leveraging generative AI to solve complex customer challenges. This position involves direct customer interaction to understand their business problems and guide them in implementing generative AI solutions. The role requires crafting scalable technical architectures, developing enablement materials, and influencing product development through customer feedback. As part of the AWS sales organization, the architect will collaborate with various teams to drive the adoption of AWS services and share best practices through various forums.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
