About the position

The position involves managing the full lifecycle recruitment for professional to senior level positions at Novo Nordisk. The role serves as a strategic and tactical talent acquisition partner, focusing on attracting and acquiring top talent to meet business goals. The recruiter will work independently as a subject matter expert, utilizing various sourcing strategies and building relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to ensure effective recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle recruitment for professional to senior level positions.
  • Act as a strategic and tactical talent acquisition partner to assigned business unit(s).
  • Identify and recruit highly qualified candidates from a variety of sources.
  • Assist with the implementation of a talent acquisition strategy tailored to key client groups.
  • Work independently as a TA Subject Matter Expert to source and deliver candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Utilize traditional and nontraditional resources for candidate sourcing.
  • Manage candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates in accordance with Talent Acquisition procedures.
  • Develop new hire offers and gain necessary approvals.
  • Work with client areas on expatriate and relocation issues.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition related projects as a team member or lead.
  • Ensure compliance with OFCCP/EEO guidelines and internal SOPs.
  • Partner with Talent Attraction/Sourcing team to develop sourcing strategies.
  • Interview and assess candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Manage relationships with recruiting agencies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may substitute for degree.
  • A minimum of 6 years in Human Resources or relevant experience with line of business.
  • Talent Acquisition experience preferred.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system preferred.
  • In-depth experience using behavioral interviewing techniques and assessment tools strongly preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize high requisition flow.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and analyze data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to leverage job boards and social media for sourcing.
  • Good working knowledge of HR policies and federal/state legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
