The Technology Talent Acquisition team at Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist in Talent Acquisition to spearhead the recruitment of top-tier talent for technology roles across the United States and Canada. The candidate will develop innovative sourcing strategies through comprehensive market research and data mining, utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn and other social media channels to identify prospective candidates. The position requires conducting initial outreach and screening of candidates, serving as the primary point of contact until their candidacy is confirmed. Additionally, the Specialist will execute marketing and branding strategies for talent acquisition, collaborating with the Communications team to achieve specific objectives. Monitoring progress against quarterly goals related to time-to-fill, cost per hire, diverse candidate slates, and candidate pipelines will also be a key responsibility. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in direct sourcing, candidate assessment, and a solid understanding of recruiting principles and theories. They will be adept at sourcing senior-level talent through various channels and will have advanced knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. The role demands a self-starter who can work independently while navigating a complex global organization, delivering results with urgency and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Follow talent acquisition specific processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with designated processes and systems.
  • Develop sourcing strategies through detailed market research and data mining.
  • Conduct initial outreach to and screening of prospective internal and external candidates.
  • Serve as the direct point of contact for prospective candidates until their candidacy is confirmed.
  • Execute marketing and branding talent acquisition strategies in collaboration with Communications.
  • Monitor progress against quarterly goals for time-to-fill, cost per hire, diverse candidate slates, and candidate pipelines.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in direct sourcing, candidate assessment, and recruiting principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Expertise in sourcing senior-level professional talent through multiple channels.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in developing and presenting data to business partners.
  • Demonstrated ethical standards, high integrity, and a passion for attracting top talent.
  • Ability to deliver with a high sense of urgency and a strong customer satisfaction focus.
