About the position

As a Senior Specialist in Talent Acquisition at Ford Motor Company, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and recruiting top technical talent for the organization. This position is crucial as it supports Ford of Europe in meeting its specialized hiring requirements. You will be responsible for managing the complete recruiting lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience while partnering with the Global team to deliver exceptional talent to Ford. Your role will involve utilizing both new and traditional recruiting methods to source software and digital talent, actively engaging with diverse organizations to attract and hire the best candidates. In this position, you will build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their specific business and hiring needs. You will leverage a variety of channels and messaging strategies to identify high-quality candidates, while also gathering and maintaining competitive market intelligence to influence hiring decisions effectively. As a coach to hiring managers, you will provide insights on interviewing techniques and the latest trends in talent acquisition, ensuring that the team is equipped with best practices to attract top talent. Additionally, you will serve as an ambassador for Ford's employment brand, articulating the company's strategy and values to potential candidates. Your ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, and persuade will be essential in extending offers and successfully closing key talent for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Source software / digital talent using both new and traditional recruiting methods.
  • Engage with and build partnerships with diverse organizations to attract and hire top talent.
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to understand their business and hiring needs.
  • Use a variety of channels and messages to find targeted sources of high-quality candidates.
  • Gather and maintain competitive and market intelligence to position and drive influence with hiring managers.
  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing and latest talent acquisition thinking and best practices.
  • Become a Ford employment brand ambassador able to articulate our strategy and attract top talent for the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full lifecycle recruiting, including specific experience hiring software and technical disciplines.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills including partnership, negotiation, persuasion and selling skills to extend and successfully close key talent.
  • Direct experience on recruiting teams that have delivered speed and quality for the business while scaling to meet hiring needs.
  • Possesses stellar organization and time management skills to manage workload and changing priorities.
  • Must be data driven and results oriented to manage and improve core recruiting metrics.
  • Using a variety of channels and able to utilize candidate sourcing tools and methods.
