About the position

The Senior Specialist, Tech Talent Acquisition at Mastercard is a strategic role focused on recruiting experienced-level technical talent across North America. This position involves leading the search process, developing tailored recruiting strategies, and building trusted relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders. The role emphasizes inclusive hiring practices and staying informed about industry trends to attract top talent effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a seamless search process to attract, assess, and close top technical talent.
  • Develop tailored recruiting strategies for each client group utilizing knowledge of internal and external talent pools.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders across the People & Capability organization.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to develop and communicate compensation packages to final candidates.
  • Drive inclusive hiring practices across the talent acquisition lifecycle.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market conditions to effectively target top talent.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in technology recruitment with a proven track record of securing top-tier talent across various technical roles.
  • Knowledge of modern technical stacks, including frameworks, languages, and tools used in software development and data engineering.
  • Ability to act as a trusted partner to hiring managers and candidates by understanding engineering principles and trends.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience fostering collaborative working relationships and advising stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and associated human resources and hiring practices.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Workday ATS is preferred, but not required.
