About the position

The Senior Specialist, Tech Talent Acquisition role at Mastercard is designed for an experienced recruiter who will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the Services & Commercial & New Payment Flows businesses. This position involves acting as a strategic talent advisor, leading the recruitment process for experienced-level technical positions across North America, and driving inclusive hiring practices throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a seamless search process to attract, assess, and close top technical talent.
  • Develop tailored recruiting strategies for each client group and execute them to generate a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders across the People & Capability organization.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to develop and communicate compensation packages to final candidates, considering market data and internal equity.
  • Drive inclusive hiring practices across the talent acquisition lifecycle.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and market conditions to effectively target top talent.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in technology recruitment with a proven track record in roles such as Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Technical Program Managers, and Technical Product Managers.
  • Knowledge of modern technical stacks, including frameworks, languages, and tools used in software development, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and product management.
  • Ability to act as a trusted partner to hiring managers and candidates by understanding engineering principles and trends.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience fostering collaborative working relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and associated human resources and hiring practices.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Workday ATS is preferred, but not required.
