About the position

The Senior Specialist, Tech Talent Acquisition at Mastercard is a strategic role focused on recruiting top technical talent across North America. This position involves leading the search process, developing tailored recruiting strategies, and building strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders. The specialist will drive inclusive hiring practices and stay informed about industry trends to effectively attract and secure the best candidates for various technical roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a seamless search process to attract, assess, and close top technical talent.
  • Develop tailored recruiting strategies for each client group utilizing knowledge of internal and external talent pools.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to develop and communicate compensation packages to final candidates.
  • Drive inclusive hiring practices across the talent acquisition lifecycle.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market conditions.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in technology recruitment with a proven track record in identifying and securing top-tier talent.
  • Knowledge of modern technical stacks, including frameworks, languages, and tools used in software development and data engineering.
  • Ability to act as a trusted partner to hiring managers and candidates by understanding engineering principles and trends.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience fostering collaborative working relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and associated human resources practices.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Workday ATS is preferred.
