The Senior Specialist in Technical Development Strategic Operations at Moderna will play a pivotal role in deploying a robust and integrated digital framework across a complex portfolio of technical programs. This position is based onsite at Moderna's Technology Center campus in Norwood, MA, and reports directly to the Director of Strategic Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the Technical Development (TD) strategy into actionable execution, focusing on data manipulation, mining, and visualization, as well as enhancing cross-functional data communication. The role involves developing and implementing digital tools and analytics to scale up data integration capabilities within the Technical Development team. In this highly collaborative position, the Senior Specialist will work closely with a diverse range of subject matter experts across various sub-functions within Technical Development and beyond. The candidate will be tasked with creating and deploying digital tools, dashboards, and analytics that support stakeholder needs, ensuring timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. This includes understanding data visualization needs, authoring user requirements, and building databases and integrated dashboards that focus on critical business needs such as resource management, budget tracking, KPIs/metrics tracking, material planning, and program and portfolio timeline reporting. Additionally, the Senior Specialist will interpret data, compile results, and create presentations and reports to effectively communicate data insights. The role also involves supporting business process development and optimization workstreams, improving TD systems and tools, and enabling the scale-up of project management capabilities. A successful candidate will contribute to building and maintaining the Technical Development culture and community, ensuring that the organization continues to innovate and excel in delivering Moderna's medicines.
