About the position

The Senior Interior Designer will lead design efforts within the Sports Sector at DLR Group, participating in regional meetings and collaborating with various teams. This role emphasizes mentorship, client interaction, and the development of design concepts and materials, while fostering a collaborative work environment. The designer will also contribute to marketing and business development activities, ensuring high-quality project execution and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design efforts and client interactions.
• Mentor staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Participate in regional meetings and interiors committees.
• Set vision and direction for material palettes and design concept presentations.
• Contribute to the development of Construction Documents and specifications.
• Develop Furniture packages and provide QA/QC role as needed.
• Engage in marketing and business development activities.
• Promote thought leadership through internal media platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in the Sports Venue or Hospitality industry.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
• Strong time management skills.
