About the position

The Senior SQL Database Developer and Application Support Engineer will play a critical role in the BUCS development team, focusing on enhancing the daily PNL Production process for GBAM Finance. This position requires expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2019, performance tuning, and application support, while also involving mentoring junior team members and ensuring compliance with bank policies. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence three days a week in either Jersey City, NJ, or Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

• Implement new Bank wide development processes and upgrade associated toolset to the latest technologies.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies and standards.
• Provide day-to-day application support as required.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the team.
• Manage releases and oversee application performance.
• Drive changes in working practices to enhance delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SQL and Enterprise Application Support.
• 6 years of experience with SQL Server, JIRA, Autosys, and C#.Net.
• 4 years of experience with Python scripting and PNL processes.
• 5 years of experience with Quartz.

Nice-to-haves

• Investment banking experience, particularly in front or middle office teams.
• Knowledge of Daily PNL Production processes within a Global Markets Finance function.
