About the position

The Senior SQL Developer at Broad Reach Partners is a full-time role focused on backend SQL development for key applications used by clients. The position requires strong technical skills in SQL development, performance tuning, and collaboration within a development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL Server and related tools, and will be responsible for developing new product features, integrations, and ensuring quality work through effective communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend SQL for key applications used by clients.
• Perform performance tuning of SQL queries to enhance performance.
• Create and tune complex SQL queries.
• Work with reporting tools like SSRS.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure applications meet business needs.
• Deliver quality work with clear, well-documented code according to technical design and product requirements.
• Refine standards for development and testing activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of SQL development experience.
• Experience in performance tuning of SQL queries.
• Ability to analyze and enhance performance of poorly performing SQL queries.
• Experience creating and tuning complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as SSRS.
• Experience with Postgres is a plus.
