We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer to join our healthcare technology team. This role will play a critical part in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure, specifically focusing on financial applications and the migration of legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, experience with managing large backlogs of tasks, and a passion for improving data processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for backlog management, working through a significant volume of tickets generated by the business, addressing various requests related to financial applications. You will also be involved in stored procedure development, where you will modify, optimize, and troubleshoot existing stored procedures to enhance application performance. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with the development team to re-write and modernize several legacy applications. Additionally, you will assist in migrating data from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity and continuity. Your expertise will also be crucial in supporting multiple financial applications, providing database solutions that are scalable, efficient, and secure. Performance tuning will be another important aspect of your responsibilities, as you will ensure optimal performance of database systems by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
