About the position

The Senior SQL Developer at HCH Enterprises, LLC is responsible for analyzing data, developing complex SQL queries, and implementing solutions in collaboration with experienced leads and business resources. This full-time role involves working with various systems and requires a strong background in database management and programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database solutions to meet business needs.
• Write complex SQL queries and develop PL/SQL objects.
• Perform database and SQL performance tuning.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver quality solutions.
• Document system architecture using Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Debug and troubleshoot coding errors in complex DML.
• Support database-driven reporting initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with Oracle databases.
• Strong experience with database and SQL performance tuning.
• Proficient in data modeling and visualization tools, preferably Tableau or Power BI.
• Working knowledge of ETL practices, preferably Informatica or Pentaho.
• Excellent understanding of database management systems (DBMS).
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with complex DML.
• Expert level SQL querying and database manipulation with large data sets.
• Familiarity with code repositories, ideally Git.
• Experience with continuous integration tools, preferably Jenkins.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of Integrated Eligibility experience, particularly with SNAP/TANF/Medicaid.
• Experience developing reports for federal agencies.
• Strong data validation and quality assurance skills.
• Experience with Enterprise Workflow Management Tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
• Advanced understanding of data visualization technologies such as Tableau.
