About the position

As a Senior SQL Server BI Developer at Gainwell, you will leverage your expertise in SQL Server to develop innovative solutions that enhance healthcare outcomes for vulnerable communities. This role involves working with advanced technologies to create reporting deliverables and optimize database performance, while also contributing to a collaborative and purpose-driven team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex stored procedures and functions in SQL Server 2008/2012.
• Utilize SQL Server Analysis Services and performance tuning techniques to enhance query performance.
• Build reporting deliverables using SSRS or Power BI with SQL scripts.
• Participate in the analysis and development of business report requirements.
• Implement best practices and defined processes for database management.
• Conduct data analysis for required database objects and ensure compliance with database security regulations.
• Mentor junior colleagues and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Requirements

• 6+ years of SQL Server Development experience with SQL Server 2008/2012.
• Experience with healthcare systems and knowledge of technology architecture.
• Ability to write complex stored procedures and functions.
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services and performance tuning.
• Strong debugging skills and knowledge of error handling in stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
