About the position

The Senior SQL Server Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SQL reports and data integration processes. This role requires extensive experience in creating robust data models and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The developer will work closely with business users to analyze processes and prepare workflows, while also monitoring and enhancing report performance.

Responsibilities

• Create and fine-tune SQL reports from various relational databases.
• Design robust Logical Data Models and steward data design solutions.
• Develop, debug, and support complex data integration interfaces and processes.
• Write and optimize ETL scripts and code based on data models and technical specifications.
• Participate in requirements elicitation and analysis through joint application design sessions.
• Prepare business process workflows, use cases, and user interface designs for reports.
• Monitor report performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Execute and test batch jobs for enterprise-wide systems.

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience as a reports developer with SQL reports.
• Experience in designing and developing data integration processes using SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL, and SQL Server.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft products/tools such as Power BI and SQL Server versions 2008, 2012, and 2016.
• At least two (2) years of experience executing and testing batch jobs for large systems.
