About the position

We are seeking a skilled Senior SQL/Tableau Data Analyst to join our team and support our client's data visualization needs. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing interactive dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights from data. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to identify data needs and develop self-serve dashboards, ensuring data quality and accuracy through validation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and develop self-serve dashboards.
• Research, hypothesize, test, and validate data from various sources to answer business questions.
• Write complex SQL queries that utilize multiple tables for reporting purposes.
• Develop and maintain automated processes using Python to streamline data analysis and reporting.
• Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through data validation and testing.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
• Document reporting requirements and processes.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of data analysis and reporting experience in complex data analytics projects.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data integration and ETL processes.
• Extensive experience building self-serve dashboards using Tableau and data analysis using Excel.
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills and ability to work with little supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to understand data and the applications/processes that generate it.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience with call, case, and order data from sources like Salesforce, Remedy, NICE, IVR, etc.
• Experience using Python for data analysis and predictive analytics (nice to have).
