Responsibilities

• Gather data for forensic accounting engagements and analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports
• Prepare adjusting journal entries, trial balance, and bank reconciliations
• Process accounts payable
• Setup Chart of Accounts and Vendors
• Handle payroll processing and transaction allocations
• Interact with clients
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns

Requirements

• Accounting Degree
• Minimum of 4 years of recent private company or public accounting experience
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, project management, client service, time management, and PC skills including Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks preferred)
• Confidence in learning and embracing new technology to solve client issues
• Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust and accountability
• Commitment to maintain confidentiality while working with client data
• Desire to be promoted to Senior Accountant within one year
