Responsibilities

• Work with large-scale data to build systems leveraging new techniques for evaluating AI-based products.
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and collaborating organizations, driving best engineering practices.
• Reduce ML tech debt by designing scalable systems that improve engineering productivity.
• Partner with data science, analytics, product, and infrastructure teams to innovate and enhance member experience.
• Integrate industry research and develop opportunities to contribute back to the field.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
• 2+ years in a Lead, Staff, Principal, Architect, or similar technical leadership position.
• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Machine Learning or Recommendation Systems.

Nice-to-haves

• 10+ years of experience in AI/Machine Learning and/or experimentation.
• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
• Background in experimentation, large scale evaluations, machine learning, deep learning, or LLMs.
• Demonstrated ability to work with peers in engineering across teams to set technical directions.
