Lattice's Engineering team is dedicated to enhancing our product and refining our craft. We utilize a modern, cutting-edge tech stack and are enthusiastic about experimenting with new technologies. Our focus is on creating maintainable, robust, and high-performance code. Collaboration is key in our environment, where we work closely with designers and product managers. We prioritize not only excellent technical architecture but also an outstanding product experience. We are seeking a Senior Staff Cloud Security Engineer who is eager to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role will have a direct impact on the architecture of our cloud platforms, the maturity of our cloud security posture, and our security monitoring and investigative capabilities. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure development, particularly with AWS, containerization, and orchestration. A deep understanding of security concepts and principles, including encryption, authentication and authorization, least privileged access, and security monitoring and incident response, is essential. The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge of software and security architectures, along with extensive experience in performance, reliability, monitoring, and incident response. Proficiency in coding and scripting, particularly with TypeScript or JavaScript, is required. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial, as the candidate must effectively collaborate with non-technical team members. The ability to investigate security concerns and incidents, champion improvements, and communicate clearly and concisely is vital. The role also involves mentoring and guiding less experienced software and security engineers, as well as spearheading the planning and delivery of the development roadmap for software projects. The candidate should enjoy working with a diverse set of stakeholders and tools to enhance foundational features while identifying and mitigating risks inherent in development work.
