About the position

The Senior Staff Customer Success Manager at Shield AI is a pivotal role focused on ensuring that customers derive maximum value from the Hivemind Enterprise Software. This position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, emphasizing the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The Customer Success Manager will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle, which includes onboarding, training, offboarding, and contract renewals. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored customer success plans that align with the specific goals and objectives of each client. Regular reviews will be conducted to assess customer progress and satisfaction, ensuring that they are achieving their desired outcomes. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with sales and product teams to address customer needs and feedback, ensuring that the product evolves in line with customer expectations. Additionally, you will own and drive the contract renewal process, playing a crucial role in maintaining account health and driving revenue growth through a land and expand strategy. Your ability to navigate complex customer environments and foster strong partnerships will be essential to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in customer success or account management
  • 3+ years of experience working with large enterprise customers
  • Proven experience in revenue renewal and retention for multi-million-dollar contracts
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong understanding of AI and robotics technology
  • Experience building and running a small customer success team at a startup
  • Familiarity with the defense aviation industry
