We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to closely partner with product leads and develop advanced data analytics capabilities for our customers. The Infrastructure Monitoring and Log Management teams develop a spectrum of products, ranging from Kubernetes observability and Cloud Cost Management to software that identifies and classifies sensitive data. These teams are responsible for a large portion of the data we collect on behalf of our customers. You can expect to work closely with senior product managers, product and engineering leadership, and various engineering teams to develop new tools for cross-product data analysis. In this role, you will design and drive high priority, high visibility projects that increase multiple platform's capabilities and enable new features across multiple teams. You will lead and guide others through architectural decisions for new and existing analytics capabilities that rely on distributed, high-throughput, real-time systems. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with product engineering teams, design partners, and product managers to quickly iterate on proof of concept capabilities. Additionally, you will work with teams to take new capabilities from concept to reality, playing an active role in developing the software and releasing it to customers.
