Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction, architecture, and design for NCM observability and platform capabilities
• Architect, design, and develop scalable, cloud native distributed systems
• Engage in design/code reviews and define development & test best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence
• Build innovative solutions that cater to customer needs
• Collaborate with architects, tech leads, and product managers to drive clarity on goals and outcomes
• Manage priorities, deliverables, and timelines
• Work in a geographically distributed team setup

Requirements

• Extensive experience in building & scaling distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in GoLang, Python, Java or C++
• Experience architecting and building observability platforms
• Data modeling and working with time series, graph, and relational databases
• Experience with messaging/eventing systems like NATS, Kafka
• Understanding of Kubernetes and containers
• Experience with microservices and data processing frameworks
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required
• Experience of 12+ years developing highly scalable and available software
