About the position

The Signal Integrity Engineer plays a crucial role in providing design guidelines and support for system architecture, board layout, product bring-up, debugging, validation, and factory builds. This position involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product development and making design adjustments based on testing and simulation results.

Responsibilities

  • Model high-density I/O's on PCBs, packages, connectors, and probe cards considering reflections, bandwidth, and crosstalk.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects across multiple domains.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling.
  • Perform transmission line and via modeling and conduct experiments to validate modeling outcomes and methodologies.
  • Analyze and review layout files related to signal integrity and power integrity problems.
  • Provide practical solutions to PCB/package design teams based on simulation results and analysis.
  • Conduct simulations of memory interfaces for board and package and high-speed serial IO interfaces for board and package.
  • Perform decoupling capacitor optimization and loop inductance analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • 11 to 14 years of experience in signal integrity engineering.
  • Strong knowledge in simulation tools like Hspice, Sigrity, ADS, Ansys SIwave, HFSS 3D.
  • Strong knowledge in signal integrity and power integrity fundamental concepts.
  • Strong experience in package and PCB modeling.

  • Recognized expert in one or more technical areas related to signal integrity.
