About the position

The Senior Staff Network Operations Engineer will lead the deployment and management of a zero trust network architecture utilizing Zscaler technologies. This role is essential for ensuring the successful implementation, operation, and optimization of zero trust solutions in a large enterprise environment, focusing on security and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, deployment, and advanced configuration of Zscaler zero trust solutions (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC).
• Provide senior-level operational leadership and support for the zero trust architecture, including proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Develop, implement, and manage sophisticated security policies and access controls within the Zscaler environment.
• Lead the response to high-severity security incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
• Continuously monitor and analyze system performance to implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT security and network teams to ensure seamless integration of zero trust solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations and processes.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops on Zscaler technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in network operations and security with a focus on zero trust architectures and Zscaler solutions.
• Deep expertise in Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange components: ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC.
• Strong knowledge of advanced network protocols, security principles, and access control models.
• Proven experience with network monitoring and advanced troubleshooting tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for network operations (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP) or Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator (ZCCA).
