About the position

The Senior Staff Product Manager for Intuit's Core Platform will lead the vision and strategy for Kubernetes, API, and Traffic ecosystems, focusing on building scalable and reliable platform products. This role involves deep technical understanding, customer empathy, and strong execution capabilities to drive impactful business results and innovation within the organization and the open-source community.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead vision and strategy for Kubernetes, API and Traffic ecosystems.
  • Manage dependencies, priorities, and plans across different groups at Intuit for consistent product delivery.
  • Take a data-driven approach in prioritizing requirements and defining success metrics.
  • Champion user experience with deep customer empathy.
  • Create awareness for the service communications ecosystem through technical talks and events.
  • Serve as a product evangelist for container-based developer platforms.
  • Participate in and lead discussions in the open-source community.
  • Contribute across Intuit platforms as part of the extended product management team.
  • Act as the voice of developers and customers in creating world-class SaaS platforms.

Requirements

  • 15+ years designing and delivering platform products in large scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with container ecosystem, developer tools, Kubernetes, storage, and networking.
  • Experience with public clouds - AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of SaaS services, API platforms, and infrastructure at large scale.
  • Experience in Agile development and backlog grooming.
  • Product development and technical background, with hands-on development experience.
  • Proven experience in defining product vision and inspiring teams.
  • Ability to work closely with customers and partners, demonstrating a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related technical discipline required.
