About The Position
The Google DeepMind Agents team is seeking a Senior Staff Research Engineer to help drive the development of AI agents within Google DeepMind. In this senior role, you will create cutting-edge AI agents capable of multimodal understanding, planning, and tool use. You will collaborate closely with research scientists and engineers to ship the latest agent innovations including hybrid agent architectures, orchestration, multimodality, tool integrations, memory and personalization. At Google DeepMind, we’re a team of scientists, engineers, machine learning experts and more, working together to advance the state of the art in artificial intelligence. Our mission is to solve intelligence to advance science and benefit humanity. The DeepMind Agents team is responsible for developing AI agents, including Astra (our next gen universal assistant), agent platform, and agent ecosystem.
