About the position

The Senior/Staff Solutions Engineer at Crusoe Energy will play a crucial role in supporting customers as they build their businesses on the Crusoe Cloud platform. This position focuses on ensuring that customers deploy secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions while minimizing deployment costs. The role involves direct customer engagement, technical advocacy, and collaboration with internal teams to enhance customer experience and product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers to provide technical advocacy as they build their products in the cloud.
  • Help customers scope out their initial Proof of Concept (PoC) and evaluate Crusoe Cloud, assisting them in scaling their workloads from PoC to deployment.
  • Lead customer-facing demonstrations, discussions, and events to support product education and evangelism.
  • Champion the needs of customers and represent their requirements to the product and engineering teams to guide the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with other teams at Crusoe to develop content that aids customers in developing and deploying their applications on Crusoe Cloud.
  • Develop and launch sales plays and demand generation programs targeting a broad customer base.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in computer science, math, or engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience architecting, building, or operating cloud-based applications or infrastructures.
  • Deep understanding and experience in building machine learning (ML), high performance computing (HPC), or graphics applications in cloud environments.
  • Experience with modern infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Cloud Formation, and Terraform.
  • Professional cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP Solutions Architect) preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
