About the position

The Senior Staff Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Lead at Northrop Grumman is responsible for directing the overall systems engineering, integration, and test efforts on a program. This role involves ensuring technical compliance with program requirements, managing integration across engineering elements, and overseeing the development of core engineering work products. The SEIT Lead will interface with various stakeholders, including program management and engineering teams, to ensure the integrity of the program's technical baseline and successful execution of project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute core functions of the project team.
  • Conduct program reviews such as SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, and peer reviews.
  • Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
  • Manage vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program lifecycle.
  • Oversee configuration management of the overall Program Baseline.
  • Serve as the Logistics and Supportability Interface across applicable phases of the program lifecycle.
  • Collect, manage, and report program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
  • Manage risk and opportunity and track core engineering work products in the program schedule.
  • Oversee the establishment and execution of the program lifecycle and work products.
  • Support the transition of the project to operations, maintenance, and sustainment stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Leads, program manager, and customer to ensure program technical baseline integrity.
  • Align measurement objectives and activities to meet program performance goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 14 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 9 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of ASIC product life cycle.
  • Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML).
  • Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification.
  • Demonstrated Backlog Planning and Management.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management experience.
  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Experience in systems development, integration, and test.
  • Demonstrated great communication skills.
  • Current active DoD TS/SCI with poly security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or PhD in STEM or technical management.
  • Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (UAF).
  • Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally.
  • Experience working with CAMEO.
