About the position

The Senior Storage Engineer (Azure Cloud) role at Maxonic involves leading large-scale migration projects within a hybrid work environment. This position focuses on designing and orchestrating migrations from various platforms, such as SharePoint to OneDrive and Google Workspace to Microsoft solutions, while ensuring effective change management and impact analysis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in Microsoft Exchange, PowerShell, and automation, with a strong emphasis on managing migrations in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and orchestrate large-scale migration projects from various platforms to Microsoft solutions.
• Conduct change management and impact analysis for migration initiatives.
• Guide teams through the migration process, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Engage with customers to understand their business needs and deliver impactful technical solutions.
• Evaluate organizational readiness for leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot and other AI technologies.
• Provide strategic leadership and act as a trusted technical advisor to clients.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud solutions and customer-facing consulting experience.
• Proven success in implementing and supporting Microsoft cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for analyzing and resolving complex issues.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, security, and reliability.
• Experience with Azure services and tools, such as Azure DevOps and Azure Active Directory.
• Ability to design and implement cloud solutions that meet customer requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Certification in Microsoft Azure or other relevant cloud technologies.
