About the position

The Senior Store Opening Coordinator is responsible for managing the operations and development of the new store program, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision. This role involves overseeing store opening coordinators, revising store layouts, and maintaining communication with internal and external partners to keep projects on schedule. The coordinator will also develop training plans and evaluate techniques for inventory control and labor efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ongoing operations and development of the new store program through Store Opening Coordinators and staff.
• Revise store layout based on changing requirements of supplies and corporate initiatives.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Develop and execute plans for coaching, training, and development of store opening coordinators.
• Evaluate and develop improved techniques for inventory control, shipping and receiving, and efficient use of labor.
• Perform additional responsibilities as business needs arise.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in management preferred.
• Minimum of two years of retail experience in a management role in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business, or demonstration of skills through an internal development program.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
• Ability to comprehend and accurately complete all documentation.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to complete assignments in the time allotted.
