About the position

The Senior Strategic Account Manager is responsible for creating and executing business plans that align with the company's goals while addressing the needs of external strategic partners. This role involves maintaining communication with key contacts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing account data to drive positive change and revenue growth. The position also includes conducting business reviews, developing value propositions, and providing updates on partner progress.

Responsibilities

  • Create, communicate, and execute business plans that achieve internal company goals while meeting the short and long-term needs of external strategic partners.
  • Maintain appropriate level of communication with Accounts' key contacts to maximize opportunities that match the Accounts' goals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team and other cross-functional teams when called upon.
  • Assist in providing industry and partner feedback that enhances marketing and advertising promotional activities.
  • Review and analyze Account level data and proactively collaborate with the leadership team to drive positive change, strategy, and attainment of company goals.
  • Manage financial impact of all programs to maximize compounding revenue.
  • Attend various conferences to build a network and create relationships with existing and emerging corporate partners.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with external strategic partners.
  • Develop and communicate our value proposition effectively, tailored to our partner to help drive collaboration in enabling these capabilities to our shared users.
  • Define and gain agreement on any incentivization needed to drive integration projects with partners.
  • Provide regular updates within the organization on each partner's progress and status.
  • Understand product marketing strategies and objectives and work with marketing team to bring them to life.
  • Interface with sales leadership and field sales and provide them with updates or timelines on various partner projects.
  • May be asked to participate in other initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field of study or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong animal health industry knowledge and relationships with compounding and online pharmacy experience.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated industry is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Incredibly organized and detail oriented.
