The Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing client profitability by collaborating with Partners and engagement teams on pricing strategies, budgeting, and financial management. This position is responsible for suggesting fee arrangements, managing budgets, tracking time and costs, and ensuring timely billing and payments. Additionally, the analyst will oversee inventory management, including work in progress and accounts receivable, while addressing complex billing requirements. The role also involves providing financial advice, analyzing performance metrics, and contributing to project planning and management to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners and engagement teams on pricing strategies and budgeting.
- Suggest different fee arrangements to enhance client profitability.
- Manage budgets and track time and costs associated with projects.
- Ensure timely billing and payment processes are followed.
- Handle inventory management, including work in progress and accounts receivable.
- Address complex billing needs and provide financial advice.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess project success and profitability.
- Assist in planning and managing projects to ensure quality service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience providing data-driven analysis and insights within big law or a professional services firm.
- Knowledge of the legal market, products, and services.
- 2 or 4 year college degree in a relevant field.
- Strong communication skills.
