About the position
The Senior Strategist in Product/Experience Design at Capgemini Invent is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative products, services, and experiences. This role involves engaging in all stages of the product development lifecycle, particularly focusing on early-stage research to understand user needs and validate design concepts. The strategist will synthesize market research, conduct financial analyses, and develop strategic assessments to drive client-centric transformations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, technologists, and program managers to create new products, services, and experiences.
- Conduct research to understand user needs and develop ideas for new experiences.
- Formulate clear hypotheses based on ambiguous information and validate them with the design team.
- Involve clients in the design process and present ideas to executives.
- Synthesize market research with insights on opportunities and market dynamics.
- Develop financial analysis and strategic assessments of clients' existing operations.
- Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research, including conducting interviews and developing insights.
- Execute commercial sizing models across various strategy and opportunity areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- MBA or at least 3+ years of experience in innovation, strategy development, or financial analysis.
- Proven ability to think commercially, strategically, and creatively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify market gaps.
- World-class presentation skills for interacting with senior executives.
- Positive passion for transformational ideas.
