About the position

The Senior Strategy Marketing Manager for New Customer Acquisition at PNC is responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at acquiring new primary bank checking customers. This role is pivotal in supporting the bank's customer growth goals by translating sales targets into effective multi-channel marketing programs. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to establish and optimize the acquisition strategy across digital media and integrated marketing opportunities, ensuring alignment with the bank's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the retail acquisition checking strategy and manage a team that executes against the strategy inclusive of offer design and risk management.
  • Partner with analytics on robust and timely tracking, and forecasting to help evaluate program performance across all response acquisition channels.
  • Oversee the design, execution, measurement, and ongoing optimization of digital and direct response marketing initiatives to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability objectives for new customers.
  • Build robust test and learn plans to drive consumer acquisition and expand the effectiveness of the marketing channel mix.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture throughout the team, leveraging broader bank relationships and best practices.
  • Create a clear vision for the consumer prospect shopping journey, targeting various customer segments.
  • Leverage research, past campaign performance, and data insights to create business cases for new growth initiatives.
  • Develop and foster a high-achieving motivated team through sustained leadership activities.
  • Understand and incorporate the bank's risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Develop forecasts and budgets, driving and executing spend optimization decisions.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of marketing and team management experience.
  • Understanding of Bank Deposit (Checking, Savings, Money Market) products and financials.
  • Keen understanding of digital marketing platform opportunities and implementation strategies.
  • Digital marketing expertise and 1:1 marketing experience including direct mail.
  • Data-driven marketer with a focus on test-and-learn methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret complex analytics into effective decision-making.
